Thanks for your support!
This year over 1400 Australian business leaders joined the 2016 ‘Vinnies CEO Sleepout’ to raise crucial funds that will provide emergency assistance to the women, children and men who need it most.
Thank you to those who contributed $1000 in support of Bruce and the great work of the St Vincent de Paul Society.
It is difficult to believe that in such an incredible and “lucky” country there are 105,000 Australians – including an increasing number of women and young children who struggle to survive and have no place to call home. Did you know:
- 24,000 are homeless because of domestic and family violence
- 27% are children
- Many Australians are only two pay days away from being homeless
Homelessness is a real statistic and can happen to anyone. We need to unite as a community to eradicate the homeless statistic by giving hope and assistance to the most vulnerable in our society. On 23 June I will join other business leaders in the 2016 Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout to support the challenge of raising awareness and much-needed funds to support the homeless in our community. Please help me to make a difference to the lives of others.
Thank you for your support.
The 2015 St Vinnies CEO Sleepout was a great success! On the 18th of June 1300 CEOs slept out in the cold, experiencing for one night what over 100,000 Australians experience every night. Their commitment has increased the profile of homelessness and the generous support given by many resulted in crucial funds being raised for Vinnies homeless services. Special thanks to everyone who supported this great cause.
The Vinnies’ CEO Sleepout hosts some of Australia’s top business and community leaders to “sleep rough” on one of the coldest nights of the year to raise awareness of homelessness in this country.
Bruce Young thinks you may like to support this worthy cause by sponsoring his efforts in the upcoming Vinnies CEO Sleepout on Thursday 18 June 2015.
Funds raised through the Vinnies CEO Sleepout will go towards helping the more than 100,000 Australian men, women and children who are experiencing homelessness to find the warmth, safety and dignity that they desperately deserve.
Vinnies support people experiencing homelessness through a range of person centred and holistic support services including crisis accommodation, domestic violence support, access to budget counselling, life skills courses and legal advice, as well as assisting in planning for change and their return to independent living.
It only takes a moment to make a difference and help contribute to breaking the cycle of homelessness. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. Please visit to find out more Simply Click Here
